She discusses her experience covering the ongoing Black Lives Matter protests in San Diego and talks about the importance of getting involved locally.
One of her photos from a local protest went viral. Now it's available to be purchased as a print, and a portion of the proceeds are going to the San Diego Association of Black Journalists, an organization that advocates on behalf of Black journalists. You can purchase that here.
